Our Story

In the early 1990s Gregg and his wife, Mary took on the challenge of building their own home.  With a fifteen year background in the mechanical fields and an abundance of energy, Gregg researched the code books and taught himself the basics on how to plumb his own house.  The biggest challenge would be to please the local building code official.  Showing good hands-on skills and an attention to detail, he did impress the inspector.

It was at this time that Gregg realized that he was not only good at plumbing but had a passion for it.  Soon after the completion of their home, Gregg found himself being offered a position with a local plumbing firm.  He took the offer and entered the four year apprenticeship program.

Five years later in the fall of 1997, Gregg received his journeyman's license in Massachusetts and a unfortunately a few weeks later was notified that he was laid-off for the winter.  Having a new mortgage and twin baby boys at home, necessity became the mother of invention.  Aubin & Sons Plumbing & Heating was born.

Fast forward to today.  Aubin & Sons hold plumbing and heating licenses in both Massachusetts and Connecticut.  They offer a full array of plumbing and heating products, including everyday maintenance and repairs to plumbing new homes, additions to custom built kitchens and baths.  Gregg has installed one of a kind hand built shower rooms, hydronic baseboard and hydro-air heating systems. Aubin & Sons are installers of exotic radiant heating systems using oil, wood, gas, combination boilers, and complete heating system service and repairs.  Aubin & Sons use only quality materials and are fanatical about workmanship.  They strive for complete satisfaction and personable service.

Gregg is always on the job working with his staff and is readily available when needed by clients.  He works well with his staff and is always up for a challenge.
